Rules and measurement
LAT LYS was developed to compare the racing performance of cruising yachts. It is based on the statistical LYS handicap system used in Nordic yacht racing and is supplemented with methods from other measurement systems.
LAT LYS 2022 criteria
- Fairer competition between yachts of different designs and sizes.
- The ability to accept yachts measured under the Nordic LYS handicap system.
